The Pluripotent Stem Cell Facility opened in April of 2010 with money from the Ohio Department of Development and the National Center for Regenerative Medicine.

The Pluripotent Stem Cell facility consists of a dedicated tissue culture and laboratory space equipped with:
  • Invitrogen NEON transfection device
  • Leica Fluorescence Imaging Set-Up
  • 4 Napco Series 8000 Cell Culture Incubators with the capability to control both CO2 and O2 concentrations
  • 2 biosafety cabinets
  • Additional dedicated biosafety cabinet with Leica microscope for cell colony picking
  • Liquid nitrogen cell storage freezer
